I have to take a Technology Test to get my credential. I called to see if there was any way to sign up and pay for the test either over the phone or online, as the website didn't seem to have any other way to do things except pay in person. Nope. Apparently, you can't use technology to sign up or pay for a technology test.

I hate my program somedays.

similar circumstance -
I'm working on a Wedding Registry project at work (shhh, it's a secret!).
The day after the wedding, the Registrant(s) get an alert saying that they have 10% off everything left in their (online) Registry for the next 90 days as our gift to them, and it includes a 20-digit promo code to use.
How does this alert arrive to them?
Not by email, which we use for other things, and is required to setup the acct in the first place!
We send it to them via snail mail.
This has caused much sillyness in meetings as we bring it up over and over.
